The person behind the camera
My name is Marjorie, I live in Northern Vermont with my partner, our daughter and our fur babies.
My passion for photography started with boudoir and since then has spread to capturing life's intimate moments.
Over a year ago I built a private photography studio, but of course I love to get outside! I live in the "middle of nowhere" some would say. Yet where else can you find a custom built covered bridge, a pond and private trails in the woods?
Sounds like heaven if you ask me.
Boudoir
A boudoir session is an intimate and empowering art form that celebrates the beauty and confidence of individuals in a personal and sensual setting. I invite clients to embrace their unique allure through stunning, carefully crafted images that capture both their vulnerability and strength. Imagine stepping into a luxurious space filled with soft lighting, elegant fabrics, and a warm atmosphere, designed to make you feel at ease and truly yourself.
Couples
A couples session is a beautiful way to capture the love and connection shared between partners. These sessions offer a unique opportunity to freeze moments in time, allowing couples to express their personalities and relationship dynamics through candid and posed photographs. The locations chosen for these sessions often play a vital role, with options ranging from serene outdoor landscapes to cozy indoor settings that reflect the couple's style and story.
Precious moments
A maternity or welcome home photo session is a precious opportunity to capture the fleeting moments of early parenthood and the stunning beauty of new life. These sessions are not just about taking pictures; they are about celebrating the profound journey that parents embark upon during pregnancy and the early days of their child's life. These sessions often take place in cozy, intimate settings that evoke warmth and love in the comfort of the family home.
Spooky season
A spooky photo session can be an exhilarating experience, blending creativity with a touch of the eerie to capture hauntingly beautiful imagery. Choosing a location that complements the theme is key—abandoned buildings, haunted forests, or even an old cemetery can serve as the perfect backdrop. Dressed in costumes that evoke an otherworldly vibe, models can embody characters from ghost stories, horror films, or even folklore, with props like vintage lanterns, tattered fabrics, and skulls enhancing the atmosphere.
